How it works

Our AI uses your medical history, labs, vitals, goals, and clinical frameworks—together with your chat history—to support diagnosis, prescriptions, and treatment plans. Everything connects in one place so your care stays personalized and consistent.

Upload records like labs results, symptoms, prescriptions, discharge summaries and others. This information together with your comprehensive medical history from previous visits in any hospital using our platform feed into the AI which in turn helps produce diagnoses, treatment plans and recommendations, with feedback loops that keep your care aligned to your goals and clinical standards.

How it works – patient portal, hospital portal, and AI

Tiba™ is our proprietary language model built for healthcare in this region. We are training it on local, contextual medical information that we gather over time—so it understands the conditions, practices, and realities of care in Africa and your community. Context is at the core: by grounding Tiba in region-specific data, we aim for an assistant that is accurate, relevant, and that improves as we add more local knowledge.

Got questions? We've got answers

Data security, AI features for patients and providers, and how Tiba keeps you in control of your health information.

Yes. We treat data security as a priority. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). We adhere to strict access controls, maintain comprehensive audit trails so you can see who accessed what and when, and design for compliance with standards such as SOC 2 . We do not sell or share your health data for marketing or third-party use.

For patients, our AI is educational and supportive only. You can upload medical documents or record voice notes and the system extracts key information (medications, symptoms, etc.) so it’s searchable. You can search your records in plain language (e.g. “my blood pressure last month”) and get a clear summary. The AI health assistant explains your records, test results, and medications in simple language and helps you prepare questions for your doctor. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or tell you to change medications—it supports informed conversations with your provider.

For providers, the AI supports documentation and decision-making. Clinicians can record consultation audio and get speech-to-text transcription, then AI turns the transcript into structured consultation notes. When viewing a patient, the AI consult feature offers current-visit analysis, drug interaction screening, guideline-based alerts (e.g. blood pressure, HbA1c), and historical pattern analysis—all grounded in that patient’s data and framed as clinical decision support for the treating clinician, not as a replacement for their judgment.

Through the patient portal, you have full visibility and control. You see every consent request from a hospital or provider, and you choose to approve or deny access—per facility—with optional expiration dates. You can revoke consent at any time (with immediate effect), view audit logs of who accessed your data and when, and download or upload records from any device. New consent requests trigger notifications so you stay in the loop.

No. The patient-facing AI is built with strict safety rails. It never states “you have X” or “take this medication.” It explains conditions and treatments in general terms, suggests questions for your doctor, and helps you understand your records. Any suggestion about your health is framed as “worth discussing with your provider.” For diagnoses and prescriptions, you always need a qualified healthcare professional.

Your data is stored in secure, access-controlled environments. Only authorized users (you, and providers you’ve given consent to) can access your records according to their role. Multi-tenant design keeps each organization’s data logically separated. Patients see exactly who has access and when it was used via audit logs. We do not use your health data to train consumer AI models in a way that identifies you.

Yes. We provide technical support and regularly ship product and AI improvements. System updates are rolled out in a way that minimizes disruption. For pricing, implementation timelines, or custom needs, contact us and we’ll tailor a plan to your practice or organization.
